Toilet Paper For More Than Just You Know What!

With the cold dreary winter lingering on and bringing even colder days in the next couple of weeks I find it harder and harder to keep my kids happy.  All they want to do is fight and argue it seems.  That’s why I hope you find this entry timely.  It might just buy you a couple days of sanity.

If you remember back to when you were a kid you probably remember your mom, or even grandma, being able to recycle ANYTHING you found into something fun to play with.  Take a look at this great idea my mom revived for our kids.  Simple, fast and cheap!

In a matter of minutes you can have self styled race cars, fun for any boy or girl to play with.  If you want to be a little more creative you can usually find some fu stickers to use as decals at the dollar store.  You can also cut out designs with craft paper, use nail polish or just about anything else you can think of.

This project kept my kids busy for a couple hours as they painted and designed their own cars.  Then the racing lasted for days.  When the weather keeps you from playing outside on your cool kid’s wooden tree swing don’t worry, a the we’ll come up with a fun activity for you to use.

As always, if you have any great ideas for us to share at the feel free to contact us.  We love any idea that will help a child use their imagination, keep them active and healthy or teach them something fun and useful.
